Sara George is a Program Officer, Communications (Publications & External Engagement) at the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA), where she supports communication initiatives across the organization.

In this role, she manages the organization’s publications, coordinates press engagement, and updates the website’s content. Sara brings her editorial and communications experience to CEPA’s work. Prior to joining CEPA, Sara worked in journalism as an Editorial Intern for The Conversation and a K-12 Education reporter at the Columbia Missourian. In addition to her experience in journalism, Sara has worked within strategic communications for a Barcelona-based nonprofit and the Missouri State Public Defender’s training division. Across these roles, Sara focused on making complex policy and legal topics clear, accessible, and engaging for a range of audiences. Sara holds an MSc in Media and Communication Governance from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She is also a graduate of the University of Missouri, from which she holds a Bachelor of Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in Romance Languages (Spanish). Throughout her education, she has focused on exploring global regulatory approaches to media and technology policy.
