Kallina Simeonoff is a Team Leader in the European Commission’s Unit in the Secretariat General dealing with strategic external policy issues. Previously, she worked as the Legal and Policy Officer and Team Leader of the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism Financing Team of the European Commission. Kallina has experience in the field of accounting legislation and competition law and worked for a number of major law firms before joining the Commission in 2010. In her current role, she works on issues related to the EU-US Trade and Technology Council and ensures the overall coordination of the implementation of the EU Global Gateway strategy, among others. Kallina completed her university education at Robert Schuman University in France and the London School of Economics. She also holds a LLM from the College of Europe in Belgium.
