Christopher Robinson is a Senior Fellow at the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA) for the Transatlantic Defense and Security program and director of global government affairs for a Houston-based global energy, engineering, and technology company.

Robinson recently concluded a 31-year career as a Senior Foreign Service Officer. He most recently served as US Ambassador to Latvia, where he led a 220-person mission and advanced initiatives that strengthened NATO's eastern flank, deepened economic and energy cooperation with Latvia, and advanced cybersecurity cooperation. He previously served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European Affairs, where he led efforts to counter Russian aggression and strengthen transatlantic security cooperation. Robinson also held senior roles in Moscow, at the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), and in Iraq, Nicaragua, and Belarus. He has extensive policy experience in national security, economic, cyber, and energy policy. Robinson holds an M.S. from the National Defense University and a B.A. in international affairs from the George Washington University. He and his wife are the proud parents of three daughters.
